A brow lift is done to raise the eyebrow and reduce ridges and furrows on the forehead, this creating smoother, more youthful appearance. This procedure is typically done with other facial surgery, namely most on the eyelid.

Brow lift surgery can improve the appearance of lines and creases in the forehead area, including frown lines. Forehead sagging that causes droopy eyebrows and hooded eyelids can also be addressed with this procedure. A forehead lift can lift the skin back its youthful position and smooth the entire brow area so that creases and lines no longer appear as severe.
Surgery & Recovery
During forehead lift, muscle and tissue are removed and tightened to smooth the furrows and wrinkles above the eyes and nose. The originally described brow lift has involved an incision in the hairline extending from one ear to the other. More typically today, the brow lift is performed endoscopically using 3-5 smaller incisions in the scalp and specialized instruments to elevate the skin and muscle of the forehead and resuspend them.
And more recently several different techniques can be used including endoscopic brow lift, coronal brow lift or temp brow lift patient who undergoes forehead lift may experience some numbness and temporary discomfort around the incision. Recovering from forehead lift takes about 10 days and most visible signs of surgery should disappear within about 3 weeks.
