Arm Lift

An arm lift, or brachioplasty, is a surgical procedure that:
Reduces excess sagging skin that droops downward
Tightens and smoothes the underlying supportive tissue that defines the shape of the upper arm

Fluctuations in weight, growing older and heredity can cause your upper arms to have a drooping, sagging appearance. This is a condition that cannot be corrected through exercise.

Arm lift surgery may be right for you if the underside of your upper arms are sagging or appear loose and full due to excess skin and fat.

Adults with significant upper arm skin laxity
Adults of any age whose weight is relatively stable and who are not significantly overweight

Nonsmokers
Individuals with a positive outlook and realistic expectations

Arm lift costs may include:
Anesthesia fees
Hospital or surgical facility costs
Medical tests
Post-surgery garments
Prescriptions for medication
Surgeon’s fee

Thigh Lift

As they age many people, mainly women, have trouble with excess skin on their thighs. The main reasons are aging, causing reduced elasticity in the skin, or after significant weight loss. Excess skin easily gives rise to eczema and other skin ailments. It is also a significant cosmetic problem that many of the affected feel psychologically bad about. With us at the Esthetics Centre you can, however, receive effective assistance in the form of thigh lifts.

Leaner with the use of plasty
The goal of a thigh lift is to improve the shape of the thighs. This is done by stretching the skin, which increases its strength. Thigh plasty can be combined with liposuction. The thigh is slimmed down by a liposuction and the skin stretched and adapted to the new shape.
Thigh plasty at our clinic

A lift is a major surgery that is always performed under general anesthesia. The operation takes a few hours. At the engagement our experienced surgeons lay a T-shaped section along the inside of the thighs and up to the groin. The scar is initially clearly visible, but fades with time to being nearly invisible. The pain after surgery is usually relatively mild, but one should still expect about 1-2 weeks of absence from work afterwards. Meanwhile, we must also have a tight girdle around the thigh, around the clock. Then girdle is worn for another couple of weeks but only during daytime.

After surgery
When the surgery is complete, you can usually go home the same day and then come back for a return visit in a week. Then the wound healing process is checked and check that everything else looks normal. The stitches are removed about two weeks after surgery.

The scars on the abdominal area usually fade away with time. As with any other surgery, there is a risk of infection, but they are rare after thigh lifts.

Warm and personal care
Our patients’ sense of security is important to us. Therefore you get to meet our skilled and experienced plastic surgeons during the initial consultation.. Together you discuss the aim of the thigh lift your expectations and requirements. Generally, there is a good chance to treat any of the following symptom with thigh plasty:
• Saddlebag thighs
• Loose thighs
• Thighs that are disproportionate big in comparison with the top of the body

Blepharoplasty

Also known as blepharoplasty, eyelid surgery improves the appearance of the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both. It gives a rejuvenated appearance to the surrounding area of your eyes, making you look more rested and alert.

Treatable conditions: Upper eyelid surgery can remove excess fatty deposits that appear as puffiness in the upper eyelids. Loose or sagging skin that creates folds or disturbs the natural contour of the upper eyelid, sometimes impairing vision, can be treated by eyelid lift surgery. Lower eyelid blepharoplasty can remove excess skin and fine wrinkles of the lower eyelid. Bags under the eyes can be corrected by blepharoplasty. Lower eyelid surgery can correct droopiness of the lower eyelids, showing white below the iris (colored portion of the eye).

Is it right for me? A blepharoplasty procedure is usually performed on adult men and women who have healthy facial tissue and muscles and have realistic goals for improvement of the upper and/or lower eyelids and surrounding area. You should undergo blepharoplasty surgery for yourself, not to fulfill someone else’s desires or to try to fit any sort of ideal image.

Good candidates for cosmetic eyelid surgery are: Healthy individuals who do not have a life-threatening illness or medical conditions that can impair healing Non-smokers Individuals with a positive outlook and specific goals in mind for blepharoplasty Individuals without serious eye conditions

You must tell your doctor if you have any of these medical conditions: Eye disease such as glaucoma, dry eye or a detached retina Thyroid disorders such as Graves’ disease and under or overactive thyroid Cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure or other circulatory disorders or diabetes

Cosmetic eyelid surgery is one of the most common plastic surgery procedures. In a way that in recent year it has been the most common cosmetic surgery in America. The above surgery creates a better view of eyelids. Especially in middle-aged women face will look younger. In addition, in extreme cases it also improves sight.

During the Blepharoplasty procedure, small incisions are made in the natural creases of your upper eyes lids and just below the lashes in the lower lid, and are very well hidden once healed. The Blepharoplasty procedure usually performs under anesthesia the surgery typically involves some skin removal and resuspension of the muscles and skin surrounding the lids. While it’s not a very painful operation, there is a fair amount of bruising and swelling which can last 1-2 weeks.
Sutures are generally removed 4-7 days after surgery and makeup can be worn once the stitches are out. Contact lens usually is worn again about 2 weeks after surgery.

Eyebrow Lift

A brow lift is done to raise the eyebrow and reduce ridges and furrows on the forehead, this creating smoother, more youthful appearance. This procedure is typically done with other facial surgery, namely most on the eyelid.

Forehead sagging that causes droopy eyebrows and hooded eyelids can also be addressed with this procedure. A forehead lift can lift the skin back its youthful position and smooth the entire brow area so that creases and lines no longer appear as severe.

Surgery & Recovery
During forehead lift, muscle and tissue are removed and tightened to smooth the furrows and wrinkles above the eyes and nose. The originally described brow lift has involved an incision in the hairline extending from one ear to the other. More typically today, the brow lift is performed endoscopically using 3-5 smaller incisions in the scalp and specialized instruments to elevate the skin and muscle of the forehead and resuspend them.
And more recently several different techniques can be used including endoscopic brow lift, coronal brow lift or temp brow lift patient who undergoes forehead lift may experience some numbness and temporary discomfort around the incision. Recovering from forehead lift takes about 10 days and most visible signs of surgery should disappear within about 3 weeks.

Ear surgery

Ear surgery, also known as otoplasty, can improve the shape, position or proportion of the ear. Otoplasty can correct a defect in the ear structure that is present at birth that becomes apparent with development or it can treat misshapen ears caused by injury. If protruding or dis?gured ears bother you or your child, you may consider plastic surgery.

Specifically ear surgery can treat:Overly large ears — a rare condition called macrotia Protruding ears occurring on one or both sides in varying degrees — not associated with hearing loss Adult dissatisfaction with previous ear surgery

Children who are good candidates for ear surgery are:Healthy, without a life-threatening illness or untreated chronic ear infections Generally 5 years old, or when a child’s ear cartilage is stable enough for correction Cooperative and follow instructions well Able to communicate their feelings and do not voice objections when surgery is discussed

Teenagers and adults who are good candidates for ear surgery are:Healthy individuals who do not have a life-threatening illness or medical conditions that can impair healing Non-smokers Individuals with a positive outlook and specific goals in mind for ear surgery Ear surgery is a highly individualized procedure and you should do it for yourself, not to full someone else’s desires or to try to any sort of ideal image.

Large protruding ears can have a devastating effect on self-esteem especially for children and young adults. An otoplasty is done on prominent ears in order to set them back closer to the head or to decrease the size of large ears. Surgery can be done on adults as well as children, although children should typically wait until age 5 or 6 so that the ears have stopped growing

Candidates for Otoplasty
While teasing that targets those with large ears or ears that protrude noticeably from the head usually stops after childhood, the embarrassment suffered can last a lifetime, otoplasty is usually performed between the age of 5 or 6, but it can be performed on adults as well.

Surgery & Recovering
Otoplasty usually performed under a local anesthetic, during the procedure, an incision is made behind the ear and excess cartilage is removed. The remaining cartilage is pinned into place with sutures and left to heal. In some cases, some cartilage may need to be reshaped before the ear is repositioned. The incision is inconspicuous once healed. Following the surgery, a head wrap is placed to protect the ears. Once the wrap is removed in the office, patients are often asked to wear a headband for several weeks. To maintain the new ear position and prevent injury particularly when sleeping.
Side effects of otoplasty include swelling and brushing, but they usually fade away within a week. Discomfort is mild and most normal activities can be resumed within a few weeks.
Otoplasty can improve both appearance and self-confidence.

Face Lift

If you are bothered by signs of aging in your face, facelift surgery may be right for you. Technically known as rhytidectomy, a facelift is a surgical procedure to improve visible signs of aging in the face and neck, such as: Sagging in the midface Deep creases below the lower eyelids Deep creases along the nose extending to the corner of the mouth Fat that has fallen or is displaced Loss of muscle tone in the lower face may create jowls Loose skin and excess fatty deposits under the chin and jaw can make even a person of normal weight appear to have a double chin Rejuvenation procedures typically performed in conjunction with a facelift are brow lift, to correct a sagging or deeply furrowed brow, and eyelid surgery to rejuvenate aging eyes.

What facelifts won’t do: As a restorative surgery, a facelift does not change your fundamental appearance and cannot stop the aging process. A facelift can only be performed surgically; non-surgical rejuvenation treatments cannot achieve the same results, but may help delay the time at which a facelift becomes appropriate and complement the results of surgery. Facelift surgery is a highly individualized procedure and you should do it for yourself, not to fulfill someone else’s desires to to try to fit any sort of ideal image.

Facelift surgery is a good option for you if: You are physically healthy You do not smoke You have a positive outlook and specific, but realistic goals in mind for the improvement of your appearance

The most patient who undergoes face lift experiences little pain or discomfort of their procedure. Any discomfort can be controlled and minimized with medication.
There may be some swell. bruising .and numbness following the procedure. To minimize these, it is best to keep the head elevated the first few days. After in about a week, the stitches are removed. Most patients are able to return to their daily routine in two to three weeks.

Abdominoplasty

For many people, the abdomen is a very bothersome area of the body. Some men & women work hard to improve their shape, with good results just about everywhere except their tummies. Abdominoplasty or “tummy tuck “, is designed to correct a protruding abdomen resulting from weak abdomen muscles, weight gain or pregnancy. abdominoplasty can dramatically smooth and flatten the abdominal area and achieve the firm, toned look that they desire.

Candidates for Abdominoplasty
The best candidate for abdominoplasty is women & men who are in relatively good shape and have fat deposits or loose abdominal skin that has not responded to diet & exercise. Women who have had multiple pregnancies or people who have lost a large amount of weight are also good candidates for abdominoplasty.

Surgery & Recovery
Abdominoplasty is a procedure that removed the excess skin and fat around the midsection and tightens the abdominal muscles. The surgery takes 2-3 hours under general anesthesia and begins with an incision made from hip bone, creating a flap. The skin is then separated from abdominal muscles, which are tightened and stitched into their new position. Next, excess skin is removed and a new belly button is made and abdominal muscles and remaining skin are tightened and the incision is stitched closed Dr. Ghorabi may perform liposuction in combination with the abdominoplasty surgery to create a toned appearance. The incision is carefully placed low on the abdomen so that the scar will not be visible when wearing a swim suit or other midriff-baring garment.
Abdominoplasty effects major muscle groups, so recovery time is considerable. There is a fair amount of discomfort associated with abdominoplasty and may patients advised using oral pain medications and muscles relaxants, for postoperative pain control. Recovery time is 1-2 weeks but patients need to refrain from strenuous exercise and heavy lifting for one-two months.

Lipomatic

Laser and ultrasound assisted liposuction, like traditional liposuction aren’t a weight control method or a fix for obesity. They are used to help contour your body in those areas that are not responsive to diet and exercise such as saddlebags or a paunchy stomach. Also like traditional liposuction, laser-assisted liposuction is most often used to reduce fullness in your: Abdomen Ankles Arms Buttocks Cheeks Chin Hips Knees Neck Thighs Upper arms Waist Traditional liposuction, one of the most popular forms of cosmetic surgery typically starts with the administration of some form of anesthesia including local anesthesia, intravenous sedation, or general anesthesia accompanied with the infusion of a saline solution into the area of the body where liposuction will be performed. The solution contains medication to minimize pain and bleeding. Then, a small hollow tube attached to a vacuum is inserted through a small incision into the fat layer beneath the skin. It’s moved around to break up the fat, which is then sucked out of the body. Laser assisted liposuction takes advantage of the power and technology associated with medical laser beams to liquefy the fat which is then sucked out of the area.

Ultrasound assisted liposuction uses a special cannula that vibrates very rapidly and gives off ultrasound energy. As the cannula passes through the fat cells, that energy liquefies the fat cells, which are then suctioned out. The ultrasound can be administered either above the skin (with a special emitter) or below the surface of the skin (with an ultrasound cannula). Medical devices are used for a variety of medical procedures, but only certain devices are FDA approved or cleared for liposuction. Before considering laser or ultrasound assisted liposuction, it is important to determine that the device being used is cleared by the FDA.

Liposuction surgery sculpts your body, eliminating unwanted pockets of exercise and diet-resistant fat from the buttocks, hips, love handles, saddlebags, thighs, calves, ankles, breasts (including male breasts), back, arms and neck. Liposuction is often combined with other procedures to create the desired shape and is one of the safest and most popular cosmetic procedures.
For certain individuals, diet and exercise will never get rid of stubborn pockets of fat. The following are some common reasons why you may want to consider liposuction:
You have a minimal amount of excess skin and good skin elasticity. Loss of skin elasticity with age can compromise liposuction results, but if your skin maintains elasticity, age alone is not a contraindication for liposuction surgery.
You have localized deposits of fat in your abdomen, arms, thighs and/or neck, which may be the result of heredity and do not disappear with exercise and diet.
You are physically fit, no more than 20 pounds’ overweight and your weight are If you are planning to lose a significant amount of weight or even gain weight (for example, due to pregnancy), this is not the time to undergo liposuction.
Keep in mind that liposuction does not remove cellulite and cannot tighten loose skin. Your surgeon will be able to recommend other procedures to improve those conditions.
If you are in good general health and have a positive attitude and realistic expectations, you are most likely a good candidate for this procedure.

Risks
Infection, asymmetry, the rippling of the skin, pigmentation changes (hypo/hyper), injury to the skin, fluid retention and/or excessive loss of blood and fluids.

Recovery
The patient usually returns to work after five to fourteen days. More strenuous activity may be resumed after two to four weeks. Full recovery from swelling and bruising may take one to six months depending upon the amount of fat that is removed and the areas that were treated.

Breast Lift

Breast lift, technically called mastopexy, is surgery that raises and firms the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour. Enhancing your appearance with a breast lift A woman’s breasts often change over time, losing their youthful shape and firmness. These changes and loss of skin elasticity can result from: Pregnancy Breastfeeding Weight fluctuations Aging Gravity Heredity Sometimes the areola becomes enlarged over time, and a breast lift will reduce this as well. A breast lift can rejuvenate your figure with a breast profile that is youthful and uplifted.

What breast lifts don’t do Breast lift surgery does not significantly change the size of your breasts or round out the upper part of your breast. If you want your breasts to look fuller, consider breast lift and breast augmentation surgery. If you want smaller breasts, consider combining breast lift and breast reduction surgery.

Is it right for me? Breast lift surgery is a highly individualized procedure and you should do it for yourself, not to fulfill someone else’s desires or to try to fit any sort of ideal image.

A breast lift is a good option for you if: You are physically healthy and maintain a stable weight You do not smoke You have realistic expectations You are bothered by the feeling that your breasts sag, have lost shape and volume Your breasts have a flatter, elongated shape or are pendulous When unsupported, your nipples fall below the breast crease Your nipples and areolas point downward You have stretched skin and enlarged areolas One breast is lower than the other

As women age, their breasts can lose shape and begin sag. Pregnancy-nursing, weight gain, the natural aging process, genetics, and gravity can all take their toll on women’s bust line. Mastopexy or breast lift surgery has become a popular option for women who want to restore youthful shape and position to their breast. A breast lift, after done in conjunction with a breast augmentation, can eliminate this inevitable sagging. If the nipple-areola complex has become enlarged, it can be restored to a smaller size at a preferred height on the breast.

Candidates for Breast Lift Surgery
A woman whose breast have lost volume and drop due to age, pregnancy, breast –feeding, weight fluctuations or other reasons are good candidates for mastopexy surgery. to ensure long –lasting results, it is recommended that women interested in breast lift surgery, wait until they are finished bearing children to undergo the procedure, because the result may be affected by later pregnancy, and the surgery may hamper one ability to breastfeed.

Surgery & Recovering
During a breast lift, excess skin and tissue are removed and the breast is lifted, tightened and reshaped. Once the excess skin and tissue have removed the nipple and areola and moved into a higher position to provide a natural look.
A mastopexy is done under general anesthesia and takes 2-3 hours. Incisions extend around the areola and as a vertical line down the lower pole of the breast and often horizontally along the bottom of the breast.
Although breast lift alone will cause breasts to look fuller, for some patients we choose to have breast implants inserted at the same time as their breast lift surgery to create a more curvaceous appearance.
After breast lift surgery, patients are fitted with a surgical bra and instructed to rest for a few days. Strenuous upper body activity may be limited for the first month and after times a supportive bra is worn around the clock for the first several weeks. risks of breast lift include bruising, swelling scarring, and loss of feelings in the nipples, however, the risks are rare and breast lift is considered to be a highly safe and effective procedure to restore your breasts to their youthful shape.
